ABLETON X CDR: JAMES LAVELLE’S MELTDOWN FESTIVAL

Musical and artistic innovator James Lavelle is curating the 21st Meltdown, as both Meltdown and James Lavelle’s iconic label Mo’Wax turn 21 in 2014. As part of the Meltdown Sessions, Ableton and CDR are collaborating to bring you a series of workshops and seminars on 14th, 15th and 21st of June. The sessions will take place in the Clore Ballroom of the Royal Festival Hall.

Highlights will include DJ Shadow discussing his studio workflow and inspiration; a producers’ panel featuring Mo’ Wax alumni and a live reconstruction of a classic Mo’ Wax track. The Ableton Push Playground will also be available where you can get expert advice and guidance on your own music (11am to 5.30pm // 14th, 15th, 21st June).

Ticket holders can also access additional sessions featuring talks from the likes of Jeff Mills, Gilles Peterson, Benji B and Lavelle himself.
