We are proud to announce a fresh London programme to start off the new decade. Still feeling the buzz from a magical final session with Kwake Bass last month, we can’t wait to kick things off with another lineup of highly regarded talent, brimming with the promise of more moments of raw genius and inspiration.
We have two of London’s foremost exponents in the citie’s recent jazz resurgence, pianist Joe Armon-Jones and trumpeter Emma-Jean Thackray, who with their own unique interpretations of the genre we particularly look forward to interrogating the producer-heavy elements. We’ll explore Emmavie’s digital love for R&B and Elsa Hewitt’s experimental dream-pop. Whilst rounding off with examinations of more dance-heavy cuts with Desert Sound Colony and IG Culture taking up the hot seat.
These events are free (RSVP via the links below), although an optional donation is available and greatly appreciated.
As is commonplace with each of these sessions, we invite all attendees to submit ahead or bring your own works in progress, giving you the chance to hear your music in a different context alongside works from the rest of the CDR community.
