Our place of birth! From early-noughties runnings through to now (check the history for full effect), CDR London sessions remain the heartbeat of our movement(s). For years the oh-so-memorable club-come-cultural-hub Plastic People (Shoreditch) was home until it closed in 2015. We then moved up the road to the Dance Tunnel (Dalston) and from late-2016 and into the new/now, CDR London takes place monthly, rotating between locations in east and south London.
CDR London (East) takes place Wednesday evenings at Miranda, the intimate club space in ACE Hotel (Shoreditch). Dates penned in for 2017 are: March 8th, May 10th, July 12th, Sept 13th, and Nov 8th.
CDR South is housed in Rye Wax (Peckham) on Thursdays. 2017 dates: February 9th, April 10th, June 8th.
Both our London sessions consist of CDR archive selections, Open CDR for attendees to hear their works-in-progress plus a guest slot where cherry-picked selectors play (mostly) their own productions. A roll call of whose contributed to London sessions would take more typing than we’re gonna give right now but while over 15 years CDR people come, stay or move on, progress persists and we keep going: Create, Define, Release!
